Dear Families,
We are so excited to welcome students back to school! The year ahead will be a busy one as we return to many traditional routines and experiences while still navigating through pandemic conditions.
For the first time ever, we are starting the year as a NEASC accredited school. This is a great honor for our school and will help to focus our work moving forward. This year, our work to further align with NEASC's Standards of Accreditation will include:
- The development of a school growth plan
- Continued work on our curriculum documents to ensure they are current and in a common format across subject areas
- Assessment and refinement of our practices in supporting students academically and socially in a tiered framework
- The creation of a "Vision of the Graduate" document that captures the school community's core beliefs, values, and learning expectations
I will share more information with you periodically on these efforts and will seek community input later in the year to help us fully articulate the vision of the graduate.
