Front of School

Northwood School is a PK–8 public school serving approximately 400 students in the town of Northwood, New Hampshire, located between the Seacoast region and Concord. As the district’s single school within SAU 44, Northwood School offers a close-knit learning environment where students are known, supported, and challenged by a dedicated staff of educators, specialists, and support personnel. Grounded in its Vision of the Graduate, the school is committed to developing students as informed thinkers, skilled communicators, and responsible members of their community, with an emphasis on critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application of learning. These priorities are reflected in daily classroom experiences, schoolwide traditions, and opportunities for students to take ownership of their learning. Strong connections with families and local organizations further enrich the student experience and reinforce the school’s role at the center of the community. Northwood School also maintains a strong relationship with Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, where graduates continue their education, ensuring a thoughtful and well-supported transition to high school.
